The requirements of a service paint shop are quite different from those of an in-line paint shop. The latter offer the possibility of designing a line for a specific material, usually a constant throughout the production process. In small powder coating plants, which do not have the space to prepare separate baths for different materials, the chemistry is expected to have properties that allow the preparation of surfaces for multimetals in a single bath. The following are implementations of our alternative to phosphating technology in the powder coating plant.
AUTOMATIC WASHER: 3 zones ( washing with conversion, rinsing, flushing)
AFTER IMPLEMENTATION: Washing with Kairo-SURF temp 26 chemistry° C
MATERIALS: Machined multimetal in the same chemistry - hence the need to select optimum parameters for machining steel and white metals.
COMMENTARY: Kairos technology allows the parameters to be chosen in such a way that two different products are not necessary. We point out that two products is the most optimal solution, but we understand that constraints and 'life in production' force flexibility in finding solutions. And we have provided such a solution, as evidenced by the photos below.
We would like to draw attention to the fact that the gold conversion coating produced can be seen on the black steel.
Note the visible under-treatment of the tin - a bluish conversion coating is visible.

Each line of surface preparation is different, but one thing remains common - the potential for real savings from switching to a modern surface preparation measures Kairos.
